Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks — Three Different Roofing Markets
Bucks County is geographically and architecturally three different markets, and we work all of them:
Lower Bucks — Levittown, Bensalem, Langhorne, Bristol, Yardley, Feasterville. Dominated by 1950s–1960s Levittowner Cape Cods, Jubilees, and ranchers on small lots; postwar split-levels in Bensalem and Middletown Twp; mid-century ranchers in Bristol Twp. Mostly architectural shingle replacements, often with attic ventilation upgrades to fix chronic ice damming. Central Bucks — Newtown, Doylestown, Warminster, Warrington, Buckingham. Larger colonials and traditional two-story homes built mostly 1980s–2000s on bigger lots. Standard architectural shingle work, more dimensional shingle and designer profile choices, more dormers and complex roof geometry. Upper Bucks — Perkasie, Quakertown, Sellersville, Riegelsville, New Hope. Heritage stone farmhouses, restored barns, and 18th–19th-century colonials. Standing-seam metal, cedar shake, and synthetic slate are common premium choices. Historic district review applies in Doylestown Borough and New Hope Borough.
